I have a B6 non-sport Avant and because it is a daily driver I am looking to lower the suspension to OEM sport height. I have been looking for a used Avant sport suspension but so far not found any.

In light of this, I was thinking of going with Koni FSD shocks and struts with oem Sport Springs. I would appreciate any feedback as to whether this will give me a drop to oem sport height and improve handling over non-sport. I really just want to reduce some of the float and tighten up the handling a bit.

Would I need the OEM sport bump stops to ensure i get the drop?

Thoughts and ideas welcome.

Thanks!

I have Koni FSD they are great not to stiff not to soft. I am running 2006 sport suspension spring. The drop is the same as stock because of the OEM spring. I have a set of Vogtland springs from a Koni sport kit, that I am putting on soon which will drop the car about 1 inch. It should also make the car very stiff.

Cheers

I have KONI FSD Eibach combo.. definately improved handling.. but the drop is too low for my tastes (probably about 2 inches from stock non-sport)
