A friend of mine who is a mechanic told me that if anybody i know wants to replace their suspension( Coilovers or Springs) , he would do it for them for a hundo flat!!!PM if you need work done....

called Kragen, Auto Zone, and Pep Boys... all say it was not made for my car.

I just installed S4 Shocks and Springs... it's really not that hard. The only PITA part is compressing the sprins. Other than that it's a piece of cake.

he lives right here in the northbay, san rafael to be exact......im gonna go ahead and ask him bout the rest of the things but i know for a fact that he is excellent when it comes to coilovers and springs....he is supposed to do my suspension upgrade next monday right after the GTG,damn it,so ill ask him then....i;; b keeping u posted!

yeah...i've done springs and shocks 3 other times. i'm just a little lazy now.
activemonkey - once i have my neuspeed rear swaybar and springs installed, i'd like to get out into the pleasant hill/martinez backroads. i remember your posting a while ago that you knew those pretty well. wanna go?

hmm.... hell yea assuming i can get this issue with my 2nd gear sorted out.

font is same. Back is maybe .5"-.25" lower

I dont know what the springs on the B5 look like but most important the coupling that they sit on. If im thinking that are small then expand to larger coils towards the middle, it wont be a good idea to cut em' like I suggest at the begining of this thread.
You would have to heat em' FVCK it man, buy some Eibachs, H&R's, or some cheap ass NTRAX.
I wish so bad that GROUND CONTROL made a set for A4's!
