How bad is the one from this seller?

looks similar to the racetec cores I've seen. I'd take a good tube/fin over these cores.

bar/plate > tube/fin, reduced pressure drop is your friend

how many of the said cores have you seen, tuned or tested? The greddy core in this application is a more efficient heat exchanger, has a similar pressure drop across the core and is lighter as well as cheaper. The greddy core is a extruded tube design.

extruded tube is extremely cheap design. The fingers in the tube can not nearly dissappiate heat as well as even a cheap bar/plate core. Simple math here... increased internal fin density equals increased cooling and heat transfer.

Why doesn't anything on that link make sense? They say it is 2.75" thick on the specs but yet in the pics it says it is only 2 3/8 thick, when did 2 3/8 = 2.75"? Plus if it is only 2 3/8" core how could it have 2.75" inlet/outlet? If the measurements are correct on that page then the end tanks are larger then the core and that means it is JUNK since that will cause flow issues. Thats like using a intake manifold with ports that are much larger then the ports on the head.

Yet another reason as to why I can't justify spending any money on something from Ebay... It's too sketchy...
