Yes I've done it. There is a relay under the ecu you need to remove and jump for it to start. The other clutch switch will be wired to the brake pedal sensor and one wire ran to the ecu. I'd have to look to see which terminal. It's been a while.

For the upper clutch switch (needed to fix cruise control and to fix some annoying drivability & throttle response issues especially during shifting), the process is very much the same that I had to do to my B5. So if you want to look at some pictures of physically what you need to be doing, you can look here:

You just splice one wire off the existing brake pedal switch, run that to into your upper clutch switch. Then the other wire goes out and into a specific pin on your ECU. Looks like PIN 41 for you. I just soldered my wire directly to a blank pin, but there are a few ways to handle it. Yes, you'll want the pigtail harness that came from wherever your clutch pedal and switch came from, ideally.

For the bottom clutch switch (for starter safety), you can just bypass it at the relay if you want - totally up to you. I would say if you are going to have other people drive the car - and those people usually drive automatics - you REALLY want the clutch start safety feature to work. People LOVE to jump in a car and turn the key, *THEN* realize it's a manual trans and they need to push the clutch. If the starter works on that first crank? Well, they just drove through your garage door. Cool. [drive]
