VAST Stage 3 In-Car acceleration Vid

Sorry guys, it's unedited, no fancy songs, no "are you ready for some VAST power"... Had no time to compile anything fancy! (even though my vid skills are WEAK). I haven't had a video since my old fueling setup with VAST which was the 42lb Green Giants which aren't so giant, and the car wasn't running VAST's W/M injection. Now I'm on 60's and W/M, car runs super reliable, haven't had a problem since my turbos blew 2 years ago.

Mods to car are link in signature for those who don't know. I found a cool way to mount the camera so I had to test it out, worked well. My other videos I used the passenger headrest and you missed a whole bunch of the acceleration. The clip is 1-2-3, and no 4th because my RS4 clutch is taking a beating in 4th gear, I can smell the friction material on the clutch really burning up throughout 4th.

Thanks man, yeah, PJK04s all the way. The spike there was like, 22.6 I believe. Keeping the turbos in their efficiency range is far more worth the benefits of risking them blowing at a consistent 24+PSI spike.

Yeah that would be interesting. Personally I think the differences wouldn't be so much in 0-100, but past 100 the RS4-K04s begin to lose their breath quickly, so I think the advantage would quickly shift to the bigger turbo'd cars. I've been in a VAST S3 with stock block and RS6s and the initial onset of boost is a bit later, not much, but then up top they really pull like a train. I have numbers of a RS6 stock block car with a base tune running 3.51 FATS on the same exact stretch of road I do 3.17. However, continue the race/pull I would probably fall back to the RS6s

Hm, your car seems to be moving a lot quicker than my StageIII. My car is spiking at around 20 and then holds to 18 or so. Maybe it's just the stock ASP tune? Is there really that big of a difference between 18psi and 21psi?

You're in CA, so you probably run 91 craptane right? The boost isn't as much of the variable as the gas. I have 93octane as my base, then it shoots in 50/50 VP M1 Methanol and distilled water. Methanol has an extremely high octane rating. I have other videos on Streetfire where you can see my car moving without the W/M. That would be a slightly better base for comparison.

Thanks man! I think I'll be holding onto this SOB forever. I bought it stock, spent so much money I would be taking a huge loss. I have 108K on the engine and it runs great! Hopefully someday I'll build it closer to 200K and do bigger turbos. Then dedicate it more as a track/weekend car.
