LOL. Now I can really see how much I can get out of this GT35r before I see about getting it upgraded to a HTA3586r. The rest of the car is ready for 9's, just need the power now.

Are you going to keep the current 044 intank to feed those pumps?

No, I will be moving that out as my 2nd inline pump and will be running a stock fuel pump in the stock tank which will feed the surge tank.

    Let what go?

I wont be removing any of my pumps, the 044 in my tank now will end up as one of the duals under the car and a stock pump will go back into the tank. This way I didn't have to end up buying 2 new bosch 044 pumps for this dual setup, so 034 is sending me the setup with just 1 new 044 pump that is in the picture.

Oh, I thought the one in the pic was yours. Now I understand what you meant in your post about adding it as a second inline pump. What numbers do you expect to put down with those fuel pumps? I know expectation more times than less leeds to dissapointment, but not always. I take it you are trying to push your turbo to it's peak capability.

Well really not sure seeing that this is all being done because the car is now running lean since the fuel pressure is dropping like a rock. Because of that Javad at 034 didn't really push the tuning to see how much power he could get out of the car with the Q16.

I knew I was going to need to upgrade the fuel system anyway if I want to try out a HTA3586r and then move to the BW S366.

Is not enough fuel being pushed by one 044 the issue or the tune; you guys have the dual fuel pumps to compensate?

Correct. I started seeing pressure drop once we started making over 600whp with the single 044 pump running a base fuel pressure of 3 bar. Other people have seen the same thing, so a single 044 is good for about 600awhp on race gas when it comes to an Audi. The nice thing about the dual 044 setup is that I will be able to run an even higher base fuel pressure so that I can increase how much fuel I can spray with the 1000cc injectors. Full-race was able to make 850awhp on a EVO using dual 044 pumps and 1000cc injectors running 100psi base fuel pressure.

Nice Mike. Did you cut the spare tire well out and flip it over?

No. Thats how it is, the spot where the pumps are located is where the tank canister(vent) is mounted.

Mike, that looks shit hot! By the way, Thanks for nudge... I'm rethinking my fuel system thanks to you (and will have a BETTER fuel system for less expense too! )

To make sure I'm understanding this correctly, you're going tank---dual 044's--surge tank---fuel rail--AFPR--return to surge tank???? what about ventilation? (since the charcoal canister is no longer)
I've pulled more than a few of those out of cars and some don't seem to mind while I've smelled fumes from time to time in others. thoughts?

I have yet to smell any fumes and thats even while the car is in the garage. I guess you could always put a cap on the vent line, then take it off when you need to fill the tank at a gas station.

Actually it is intank pump---OEM filter(stock spot)---surge tank---dual 044 pumps---another OEM filter--- fuel rail---AFPR---return to surge-return from surge to stock tank.

It was easy to run the -8 line. I pulled out the other feed line and the Evap line that runs from the engine bay to the charcoal canister, the -8 line went in their spot in the metal tabs and some wire ties.
