The day I bought the A3:

Cleaned it up a little bit and did a quick photoshoot with a friend (another member of NWQuattro). New BF Goodrich KDW G-Force tires, love the traction, wouldn't recomend any other tire.

Decided that I couldn't rock fake wheels anymore (BBS LM reps, they were actually Luff M1s in 19"x8.5" et 45) So I picked up a set of 19"x8" et 45 BBS CKs, thanks to the guys and gals over at Tirerack.com, and my best friend John over at Interstate Tire in Burien, WA for the set of KDWs Click here to enlarge

Got the email today, pretty sure Matrix is finished up with the car, they shortened the tips pipe cause it was sticking out a little too far for my liking (thanks Jeremy and Justin over at Matrix Click here to enlarge)

So just waiting for Sunset to give me the call saying insurance is all done (paid up) then I can find a way down there (probably via train again) and pick it up! I'm excited to get it back!! Its been almost 2 months! Click here to enlargeClick here to enlargeClick here to enlarge

I think you and I need to get a photoshoot of just our cars... some rollers, industrial pics, and some sweet seasonal pics (if that makes any sense) lol, maybe some rollers in a lighted tunnel?

Cool, yea need to shorten the tips. After is warm up it sticks out like 1”. I was there Fri after work, your car was still up in the rack. The Eurojet exhaust was pretty F-up… don’t know what the hell you hit lol ! You can sell the DP though, still new and fresh

Nice! I was planning on doing that to recoup some of the $1k I had to fork out for the insurance deductible! LAME!! The rear EJ tips should be good too, a lot of vdub owners love those laser etched stars in them. You happen to snap any pics of it up on the rack? I got a couple from Jeremy of it on the ground.

I don't know when the car is going back to Sunset, maybe tonight/tomorrow? Have no idea, haven't heard anything from Sunset yet. All I know is the exhaust is all finished up Click here to enlarge

I need to purchase some s-line fog lights however (Insurance didn't want to pay for those since I got them to give me the S-line front bumper). So I guess it would be a good time to convert those fogs to HIDs as well...

*cough* I need to get a hookup on some OEM new fogs.... *cough* haha

Maybe ill convert them into brake ducts... I love fogs though too much to ever not have them.

no but seriously, the fogs make all the diffrence in the world! Do you think yours light up more with the yellow bulbs? I want to color match the headlights and fogs with 6500k, but I was also considering 3000k fog bulbs....

    1) do you have any video clips of your car
    2) dyno numbers?
    3) why convert to S-line bumper? car looks dope with the lip kit. No available lip kit for S-line bumpers [and the retarded cupra lip doesnt count].

2)I think he dyno ~215-220 or so?

Haha, yup littlewhite speaks the truth Click here to enlarge

Don't forget to mention it took out the $12k DSG transmission out as well, and oil pan was replaced, ripped off the rear o2 sensor, and cracked the front suspension brace, broke the OEM DV down below (so I just heard... just leaks a little now with the Eurojet DV block off plug in there, so ill have to re-plug that up, until then Im assuming a little boost leaky leak) I think thats it...

Its been a headache to be quite honest, I haven't seen the car in 2 months.... however some good news!!! I get to go pick it up today!!! (Pending if the overnighted check from Insurance makes it into Audi's hands today like planned)

I actually prefer the s-line front, OEM is better IMO, the Rieger lip was sweet looking however sitting an inch off the ground spoiled the fun of driving the car as a daily driver. I look forward to having the front bumper sit a little bit higher.

As far as the Cupra lip... I am picking one of those "retarded" things up pretty soon, most likely after winter.

Yea I made it back, did take forever, was stuck in traffic so ended up stopping off at Beem's (Brian's) house and waited till his roommate Ryan got off work, then we all headed up to WA for the Toys for Tots Drive. Great turnout at PIR for the drive.

Here are some quick winter mode pics I snapped with my point and shoot Casio while walking around Greenlake, sorry for the horrible quality of pics, enjoy:

So, I've been on a budget lately, saving up for a house/mortgage and some other investments... and I was thinking to myself... what mods could I do on a budget...

I prefer DIY mods and custom fabrication to stick out from the rest of the crowd. So lately I have been experimenting with some carbon fiber, fiberglass and kevlar/carbon materials...

I will be creating some Carbon Fiber goodies here shortly as soon as my materials come in the mail. So keep checkin back Click here to enlarge Click here to enlarge

I should be getting my new Audi TT vent rings/vents in the mail early this week.

Next on my list are a TT dead pedal and GLI gas/brake pedals to complete the interior look Im going for.
