yeah, there are the tuesday night chipotle meets and friday night rockville meets that are open to all euros and happen every week, but I agree. . . we should have an audi-specific meet.

mtbrider... you ride mountain bikes or bmx? I used to be really big into BMX but haven't done much in years. Still have my GT ProSeries Team and actually bought a Hardrock PRO Disc recently but only rode it like twice thus far- so much more fun when I had friends who liked to ride too.

i ride mountain bikes...i got into racing this summer and got 8th overall in the cranky monkey series...if you ever want to go for a mtb ride let me know, fountainhead and wakefield are two really great local spots

as far as a GTG goes, the Potomac Chapter of the ACNA is having their annual fall foilage cruise on October 21st. I went on the last one and it definitely is a really fun time

Only good group I've met locally is CR, they openly welcome newbies and take an effort to introduce everyone and actually get to know you. Best group I've ever met as far as the automotive community is concerned! http://www.crossroadonline.com

We should get a BlueRidge Parkway cruise during the fall when the leaves are changing color. Went last year and it was bad ass. Problem is that I am at the Naval Academy and would need to get a ride persay :) if I cannot get mine.

Unfortunately it is. However it's a charity ride and all the proceeds go to the UVA hospital and the event is really fun.

Personally those "paid members" are pretty lame themselves. I use to be one :) and they always looked down on me b/c I was a 19 year old.

You can't knock all of them. I'm 19 as well and most of them have treated me with respect. However, I can agree with you on the fact that some of the guys are jerks but the majority are nice.
