    - It was working before I sent it to you. (that's over a month ago)
    - I refunded you part of the cost "right away" after you requested it due to unexpected missing parts...did not give you any hassle

Now, more than a month later, you tell me the part's broken and I am solely responsible for it.

How do I know if I broke it during packaging? or if it was broken during shipping? or if you dropped it and broke it???? If you had gotten a hold of me right away about it, I would not have given you any trouble given the fact I did not in the first place.

So, before you raise a stink here, ask anyone here, is the seller just SOL in this case? Or what do you want me to do?

I just looked it up. It was all fine on Feb 03, 2006.

It's been more than 3 weeks in between then and the time r12055ma4play posted this on Feb 27, 2006. Suddenly something's broken and I am a horrible seller.

People, please be fair. Tell me what you think that I, as a seller in this case, should do?

I thought you were more than fair judging from your post. Guy should've told you sooner. I say do nothing.

Fact: According to my PM record, you PM'd me on Feb 26 and you posted a negative feedback about me on Feb 27.

So you work 7 days a week, and nobody else has anything going on in their lives but to reply a PM within 24 hrs??? Cut me some slack. I only check audizine once in a while or unless I am in the process of selling some stuff. But even then, people usually just e-mail me after the ad's up.

I'm not trying to be an a$$. So just tell everyone what you want me to do here and I'll consider. I mean, since it was your decision to make it a public matter, let everyone hear what you want me to do then.

I vote thumbs UP for audi world.

he seemed to make a solid effort in refunding some of the money back, even when he seems to have not broken the gauge, why would someone ship out a broken gauge.
secondly, when you PM someone, rule of thumb is you give them 3-4days to respond, I know people get anxious, but fact is, people have lives, like stated above. Audi world seems to have made an effort to help you out, and only waiting 1 day to post neg feedback is a bit harsh.

the fact that he is here, contesting his reputation is enough to tell us he is a decent guy and he meens well. people that screw other people over do not come back into the fire..

This jury votes in favor of Audi world as being a good guy and shows he has made a consious effort to resolve this matter.

i dont want you to do anything because this may have happened in shipping or it may have been before. maybe i should have waited longer before i posted this.
i will say this, the shipping was fast and audiworld was great on refunding me some money when the bulb holder was not there.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I really hope things went more smoothly. There was no easy way for either of us.

Before we totally dismiss this issue, AudiWorld sold me two DVs. When I got them, I found out they were modified and had different springs in them than the standard ones. The photo used in the original FS post was a stock photo from ECS and description said it was the same as "this one".

I don't consider a modified DV with a cutoff inlet/outlet to be the same. And for sure would have liked to know that the spring had been changed out. I asked for a refund and was told that I can just make it work. I don't want to deal with the hassle... instead, I'll just say "DON'T BUY FROM AUDI WORLD".
