Maybe acquiring an RNS-E in a trade for stuff. I have a 2008 S4 with the Symphony , guy states he has all the stuff needed for the install. But he has a B6 so before I go through with the deal I want to make sure itll work with my vehicle before making the deal.

assuming you have the Symphony II+ (no tape deck) then the adapter harness B6's use isn't needed - you just have to re-pin your factory connector for the 3 or so wires that are different.

Both head units will have a pin out diagram on the top of the units. Just compare what your old positions were and make sure the align with your RNS-E
