Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Thereís a few good ones out there, have read thru the treads. Read about the rears ticking with certain rotors, brake dust etc. just curious, what combo are you guys running? Thinking about running either stop tech or ecs drilled and slotted rotors with hawk pads. Any thoughts?

Buttttt they stop really well. So that might be a good trade off idk 🤣 just know when you clean your wheels and go out to the grocery store and come back you'll already have a layer of brake dust 🤣

ECS yellow stuff were by far my favorite pad ive ever used, but I havent put them on a car in a while because of A) the price and B) have no use for a pad that aggressive

I'm running those same Pagid rotors with Pagid OE formula pads. Silent, and excellent brake feel and stopping power. But, brake dust is out of control, my Glacier White Allroad slowly turns gray after a week. Switching the pads to Akebono Euro next week.

Akebono is by far the best for price, dust and longevity.

Yeh pads tend to be a compromise, one thing to avoid is organic pads but semi metallics can be just as dusty. Ceramic tend to dust less but can have less initial bite when cold.

Yea, rockauto has a good price on the Pagid pads. Bought mine there. If you want my fronts after I swap in the Akebono send me an offer. They have about only1500 miles on them.
