I purchased a 2005.5 B6 S4. It has Brembo 4 piston calipers all the way around. The previous owner tied the sensor wires together at each of the front wheels I guess to disable the brake pad wear warning sensor (since Brembo's do not have the sensor). I have read that there may be an "open" in one of the wires that is causing the dash indicator to be on.
1) If I use an ohmmeter and connect to each of the wires at the wheel, where should I connect the other lead to see if there is a short or break in the wire? Is there a pin/connector near the ECU that can be referenced to perform this test?

2) Has anyone found a Brembo (or other good performance) 4 piston pad that has the sensor in it?

3) Has anyone else run into this and how did you get to e resolution?

Thank You in advance.
