    New Steering Wheel Issues

So I just purchased a new RS7 performance flat bottom steering wheel to replace my heated round steering wheel in my 2017 S6.. Install was a breeze and it looks great - however the shift paddles are not working. I checked for codes in the steering wheel module and got the following:

Address 16: Steering wheel Labels: 4H0-953-568.clb
    Control Module Part Number: 4H0 953 568 H HW: 4H0 953 568 H
    Component and/or Version: Lenks.Modul H05 0005
    Software Coding: 0000FC
    Work Shop Code: WSC 02391 785 00200
    VCID: 382A208E82526D07A3A-806D
    1 Fault Found:

01749 - Switch for Tiptronic in Steering Wheel (E439); Down
012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 01101100
    Fault Priority: 3
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Reset counter: 78
    Mileage: 2393 km
    Time Indication: 0
    Date: 2017.09.13
    Time: 16:06:38

The right upshift paddle has the "+" illuminated, but the left "-" does not with the lights on.. (see pic)

I'm assuming their is an issue with the wiring in the wheel itself, but wanted to check to see if I missed some coding or something else going from a round heated wheel to a flat bottom. I've checked the connections twice to ensure they were snug.. no problems there.

    Thanks for any help!

Take off the wheel and check the wires on the left paddle shifter they come unseated really easy, just push the wires fully into the connector then plug it back in and see if that works..

That was it! Had to take the trim off to get to the wires.. Plugged it back in and good to go.. Got the drive select button working as well. thanks again!

Love this wheel and the blue stitching to match the Sepang on the outside!
