I have an A4 cabriolet, B7 (2007) and have just installed a RNS-E out of a 2005.5 A4. After some wiring issues, I got the radio part working. My car originally had the Symphony II system with the Quad plug and Bluetooth. Before the install, my iphone would connect via bluetooth but I had to manually find and dial numbers. My car also has the MFSW too which allowed me to answer using the left push button.

After installing the RSN-E, my phone still connects when I enter the car and turn on the ignition, it will cut the speaker volume and ring for an incoming call, I can manually dial a number and it will make the call HOWEVER, I cannot be heard on the other end of the call. I have made some changed with VAG COM to get things working but I somehow think this may be a wiring issue. Again, this is a factory phone/bluetooth system with the phone cradle in the console. The only wiring change I have made is moving the K LTG wire on the car harness to match up with the K LINE pin on the radio.

Any suggestions? I feel like I'm going in circles here with this upgrade ......
