Anyone see the new RS4 on the cover of Audizine? Thoughts?

I personally love it. If it's got that much power in the Turbo V6, I can only imagine what one could do with it. Wonder if they will bring it to the US. If they do, i may have to get one.

Correct me if I am wrong. There won't be a sedan version of the new RS4 right? If its only avant I think there's a high chance it won't be sold here sadly.....IMHO

Also I our old side mirrors over this style....

I think it looks great, lot of potential motor wise as well. Sucks, but we'll most likely get the RS5 sportback instead

Wishful me: This car should be available in sedan and avant fashion with manual transmission in the states.
Realistic me: Won't be available in the states, and manual is gone.

Not sure if I would buy a sedan or avant, but I would buy one.

Saw it and love it..perfect color too! Unfortunately I doubt it'll be stateside and with no third pedal I'd have a hard time it replacing current b7 rs4. Either way wishful thinking for me as it'd be way out my pricerange til it depreciated for a few years

Probably not but if they do bring it and only in Avant form, I'd be happy to get rid of my boring 2016 S4 for one and make it my DD.

Never understand why, BMW M cars still available in manual, why not Audi RS? Or they are still available in Europe, not anywhere else? Is the manual transmission much more expensive to made? It all about demand right? I know even Mercedes available in manual in Europe but never in US (very few C class)

I wonder if it's front wheel biased like the RS3.

Will they make it difficult to import (if someone is willing to) like the B7 RS4 Avants? It's a newer vehicle so I'd imagine it wouldn't be as hard?

Not sure what you mean. Legally, you can only import a non-conforming vehicle if it's 25 years or older. Now, of course there's exceptions like temporary importation by non-U.S. residents, or for show/display use, but as far as importing a non-conforming vehicle permanently for transportation purposes, it wouldn't matter that it's a newer vehicle.

    7. Importing a vehicle that is at least 25 years old.

A motor vehicle that is at least 25 years old can be lawfully imported into the U.S. without regard to whether it complies with all applicable FMVSS. Such a vehicle would be entered under Box 1 on the HS-7 Declaration form to be given to Customs at the time of importation. If you wish to see that form, you may download a copy from our website at www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/import. You should note that the 25 year period runs from the date of the vehicle's manufacture. If the date of manufacture is not identified on a label permanently affixed to the vehicle by its original manufacturer, to establish the age of the vehicle, you should have documentation available such as an invoice showing the date the vehicle was first sold or a registration document showing that the vehicle was registered at least 25 years ago. Absent such information, a statement from a recognized vehicle historical society identifying the age of the vehicle could be used.

Not true.. you can import a vehicle through a government sanctioned federalizer. They will bring the vehicle to US safety standards at your cost and give it a US VIN.

It's very expensive and takes a long time though.

It's most likely a very nice fast car but it's just not calling to me. I want a stick and a sedan. RS4 should be hard edged track beast

I'm falling out of love with it...
More I look, I realize that the front flares don't even close to match the rear flares. It just looks strange to me and I cant ignore it. The B8 RS4, the flares were more even and looked aggressive.

^ Neither of those did it for me to be frank. The B5 and B7 RS4's were the best looking (by far).
