Angry Pioneer AVH-4200NEX - Enfig harness - Cutting/Skipping Sound issue

Hi guys... i need an expert to help with this frustrating issue.

I'm not an expert and i Installed the radio my self in 2013 using Enfig plug and play cables and mounting stuff and never had a problem. But in the last months sound is skipping randomly (Car running or parked), but happens less when moving. going over bumps does not seem to make it worse. I have no idea what it could be, all connections are tight and isolated. It happened with videos too. While it's random The problem happens more likely when at low rpms or while braking.

    Setup:
    Enfig SRWH-AUD3-HILO
    Enfig SWCL-PIOSWCL
    Enfig PNP-PIO-0237
    Enfig AAA-VWAUD5
    Enfig RMK8-A4B67
    Pionner AVH-4200NEX Head Unit

In the video you can see the Head Unit EQ icon flashing -

So you ordered a PNP-PIO0236 instead of a PNP-PIO0237. The only difference is the 0236 has a pink VSS wire and the 0237 has a yellow/black in the same pin location.

If you connected pink to pink (since you ordered the wrong harness) that is your problem.

The can box is sending out the VSS on the pink wire. Thats an AC Alternating current. The faster you go the worse it gets.

Basically you are sending a mute signal through the mute pin when you move the car. But since its alternating current its on and off.

But since you say it happens less when moving. Make sure that the wire isn't grounded. You can turn off the mute setting on the radio. Which is probably why it wasn't happening before.

I have the PNP-PIO0237 sorry for the confusion. My Yellow/black wire is connected to pink. So what could be the issue ?

I turned off the mute in radio settings and the sound is not cutting any more.

Same issue as I described above. The Vehicle speed sense was sending a ground signal to the mute wire. Muting your radio.
