    B9 A4 Throttle Response

I love the way my automatic A4 pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear when the pedal is half way down and the turbo kicks in and I'm around 3000 rpm, yet flooring it doesn't seem to give me much more and is strangely unsatisfying. Am I imagining things? I get more enjoyment when at half or a little past with my foot. I wish flooring it would take it to the next level. I always shift myself through the gears and don't let the car decide when to shift.

Max torque is around 3000 rpm, so there's the best oompf you're going to feel.

Drive by wire is not linear, so when the pedal is halfway down you're probably already near WOT or requesting max boost, so pushing it to the floor doesn't do much.
