    If you have a OBD2 dongle with carista app or similar to reset or else unplug your battery for at least 2 hours and youíll be good.

    I didn't see anything under VCDS. I'll unplug the battery tonight but I have noticed an immediate difference just installing it.

    I donít have VCDS but that would be the best way to reset the ecu if you know how.

    Question regarding chipwerke. On my local Craigslist someone is selling their chip but when I asked more info (stage 1 or 2, DSG or manual ) they answered by saying that the chips are universal. I know it really doesnít matter whether theyíre stage 1 or 2 bcus I can just send it back to get the stage I want but when you buy one online, they ask what transmission is the car, does it matter? Or am I wrong?

    As long as itís for a 3.0t your fine. Itís doesnít matter weather DSG or manuel. He would know if itís stage 2 cause he would have a pulley swap most likely. Either way you can always send it in to chipwerke for a remap if needed

    2012 DSG with 112,000 miles. I installed the Chipewerke Stage II box a few weeks ago. I installed the 180mm pulley last weekend. This has been fantastic. I had the Eurocode intake already. Now I'm thinking about exhausts.

    I think you can also turn it down to lowest setting until you get a pulley. But check on that.

    Whatís happening, have you messed with the dials inside the chipwerke pro? I am currently running it in my SQ5 supercharged and left the settings alone for now. Is there any recommendations to get a little more out of it?

    3-1 setting is for 91 octane and 5-1 for 93. If you put in higher octane (race gas or e85) you can try a higher setting. I believe 7-1 needs at least 96 octane

    You don't need to disconnect battery at all with CW, either when installing or if changing settings. Just turn off ignition and move key out of range.

    After install or setting change, the ECU needs about 50 miles of driving to adjust its fuel trims to the increased boost.

    Guys this is really tempting, but I've got 33K miles out of 100K (CPO warranty). Anyone have experience on whether removing the CW before service goes undetected by Audi?

    hey sorry to bring back an older thread...just had a quick question
    I am going to order the stage 2 box from CW, is it ok to run it at 5-1 if I don't yet have my pulley? I am just trying to space out the spending and was going to get the JHM 179mm crankpulley next month.
    for reference I have a 2012, 6MT, 93 octane, roc-euro intake

    My buddy runs his stag 2 box at 3-1 on stock pulley and it keeps the bypass shut. You should log it either way
