    034 Dogbone mount

Pretty easy install though my jacks were low profile enough. I had to drive up on 2x4 to get the jack underneath. As others have posted about 15 screws to remove. 3 with loctite. It was a type 2 insert.

Before and after photo. No noticeable NVH.

Pics are 180 difference. 034 goes to the front.

    Def removes the upshift feel.

However it added a rough downshit/jerky.

    Not sure why

It will be on the superior RS3 platform, but you guys should be able to interpret

Studio after a few days of driving it some impressions. Shifting is very smooth and tight. Starting the car it does feel a bit"rougher" but not obnoxious. There is no vibration or harshness, however there is a low frequency hum that comes through on smooth roads. To me the tts has a ton of road noise coming from a 550i, especially on Texas chipseal. You don't hear it there. But on nice smooth roads it is evident. Not over the top, but clearly evident.

Coming from the allroad I immediately recognized more wind noise too, but of course much larger longitudinal side windows.

I really didn't notice much if any add'l noise after the 034 dog mount installation however.

btw: just for continuity, aaronz did the quintessential dog bone install thread. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...nsert-2016-TTS

Installed mine today on the RS3 and it's so good!

Install is easy, though the bolt is obviously in there pretty tight. 24" breaker bar was enough.

The shifting and general feel of the car is noticeably sharper. I have 0 added NVH at idle, and during acceleration you feel the engine a bit more and it's a good thing.

The shift lever itself is effected, and you need a tad more force to move between P R and N. Nothing of concern, but curious if it happens to anyone else.

    Subframe inserts are next.
