    Radar detector bracket ideas?

Is it just me or do other people absolutely hate having 2 clear suction cups or sticky tape mounted to the windshield?

I'm looking for a way to mount my radar detector cleanly. It's a V1

I'm in NYC. So I want stealth.
    Clean install would help too.

Have seen the blendmount, and not into having it hang in the middle of the rear view mirror. Plus I think it looks ugly.

Right now, I have the visor clip clipped to the front of the headliner and it looks cleaner but slides a little. I'm thinking this route would be the best way. Barely visible from the outside.
    But
The wife can't use the visor to check herself out in. Which is going to end bad for me. Lol

Intrigued by this type of mount.
-have seen the corvette mounts that use the passenger visor clip screws, and that looks clean and a step in the right direction. But on a B7 there are no screws. (Ugh)

Any ideas, while keeping it near the visor?
Does a headliner mount even exist?

Headliner area deems a detector useless. Along with a visor clip. If you own a detector... don't you want it to actually do its job?

You may not like the BlendMount because its ugly but that is the most ideal location for a detector to be mounted to receive the best waves with a clear path at the front and through the back window of most vehicles. Plus, zero suction cups, no rattle and gives vehicle a cleaner look.

    Worth every penny.
