    2018 Audi S5 Wheel Offset

I am looking to buy winter rims/tires for my B9 S5 and I can't find the offset and the service department does not have any info either. Was wondering if anyone here knows the 19" wheel offset (I know it is 19x8.5 and 5x112) or wheels I can find the info?

Hi, I would be happy to engage the parts department at your local Audi dealership. Can you send me a PM with your full name, mailing address, phone number, email, and VIN.

I've been told by a few dealers and tire shops that they're identical to the B8 offsets.

perhaps an answer to your question will help with a question I posted just today. I am anxiously awaiting delivery of a 2018 S5 coupe. I am not at all fond of the (only available) wheels when ordering the all-season tires. I'm looking to replace the wheels, but would like ones that accept the Audi center logo cap. Do you know if such a wheel is available?

I have a 2018 S5 Sportback, and would like to know what Audi has to say about the offset. The various on-line tire resellers websites show offsets that vary by site but I have found a range of 29-35. I have new snows made up with 35 offset, but they are against the front caliper. I measured the actual offset, and it is indeed 35. I did a rough measurement of the factory wheels (eyeballing the tape without removing the tire), and get 42...so something is wrong with the data produced by Audi and provided to the tire resellers. I will also call my dealer but am not holding my breath on receiving a trustworthy response.

The dealer just said the offset is 32 according to their records, but they are specing out 31...with no problems! So...how can that be?

1 mm difference is so small that it probably makes no difference

Yes. I meant how come my 35 offset rim won’t fit? Yet they can get 31-32 to fit?

Well I answered my own question. I removed the stock wheel, and the offset is marked as 32. I did not measure it, but its got to be 32. The reason my snows with a 35 offset do not fit is because of the spoke design. The stock spoke "hooks" around the calipers, while the snows I got are linear. So that means the only sure way to know if a rim will fit is to try to install it. I was not aware that you use trial and error. I never had to do that before.
