Anyone have the ECS Skid Plate?

My original plastic skid plate is getting worn and is beginning to crack. Looking to replace it with a new one.

Does anyone have experience with the aluminum skid plate by ECS? From the looks of it, the edges don't extend as far near the control arms and steering rack - that's where most of the damage is on my original one. Trying to determine if it's a worthwhile part.

It's been on my list of things-to-do, so I'd be interested in hearing some input too.

Planning (key word on planning..) to do the APR CPS and Crank pulley on mine in the next couple months.

While I have it apart, i'll likely put one of these on as i'm wearing through mine slowly.. BUT i think the main purpose of this is to protect the oil pan.
