I don't read minds and I wasn't going to make the assumption he was talking about traffic with more in depth details of his "daily" I can't make that stretch that he was talking traffic.. a Honda Civic with 200hp is a sucky daily driver for traffic as well

    Just test drove S4, C63, and M3 ... impressions

That's fair- I acknowledged that I was making an assumption.

However I'm still not sure what would be limiting the usability other than a lack of space. I suppose speed limits (aka threat of jail) as well to an extent, though you can still use all the power to get there.

I'm always in Mexico so I'm a bad influence .. I travel to Mexico on my commute and most times Stage 2 isn't enough .. I did however embarrassing m5's and exotics in my Z .. even if it was a short burst enough to drop bus lengths.. but hey I'm also the nutcase who dropped a 1070 motor with 200whp into a 600cc bike frame

Completely agree with this. For how often I am at the track / drag strip, having that much power is for bragging rights mostly.

Keep in mind, I am not saying 'go out and buy a 150 hp car', but a good amount of power is nice to have especially when merging on a highway. I keep coming back to this...a bolt on S4 (like I have now) is all I would ever want. Seeing as M3's are going for $100k here in Canada (when checking off the boxes) vs $65k for the S4 in Canada...I'll take the S4 /w a few boltons thank you very much!!! The interior comments and what drew me to the B8 is exactly why I fell in love with my current S4...except the B9 has a ZF but that's the only sacrifice it seems...the engine and interior + tech make up for it

Also I would like to add. At first it felt a bit less engaging than the DCT but after 150 km driving in Manual mode. I really appreciate how smooth and responsive the ZF is, trust me you will see more people agreeing after driving the new S4 for a while.
