I may look into an x-pipe before going full 1/4 wave. It sounds amazing but I need to kill the drone. currently has true dual 2.5 aall the way back with hfc's into straight through magnaflow resonators into dual tip magnaflow mufflers.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Ahh that explains it as well, I have resonators.

Just got an external mic and suction cup mount so time to make some tunnel videos :-)

    Sounds similar to mine.

    3" Catless downpipes.
    2.5" High flow cats.
    2.5" magnaflow resonators.
    2.5" magnaflow mufflers.
    No h-pipe. No x-pipe (yet).
    No drone.

You think resonators would give you Drone?

if they are in a spot to cause expansion where the sound can echo with cabin yeah, it depends on size, packing, bends before and after, all working together. I was thinking of moving mine but that would mean a lot more work than the 1/4 wave or xpipe.

Those Wave Resonator setups are definately weird looking...X Pipe is a much cleaner install IMO...although some would argue Xpipes have no place on a Turbo Car...

Tru Dual is the way to go if you're performance minded

I think I can hide them next to my mufflers, decisions to make. I personally love the sound of my exhaust and the x-pipe will quite them.

This is random but we made this exhaust when I was there. Dear lord was it glorious, still to this day one of the best I've ever heard.

Amazing for sure! Love that color combo in the B5!

Maybe wrapping the entire exhaust with thick insulation could be an answer as well.

I've been thinking about doing my gauges that way too. Your AF and boost that is.
