    Cylinder 4 open circuit

So I just swapped to 2,0T coils after a cylinder 4 misfire and now I'm getting s CEL p1364 cylinder 4 open circuit. I put NGK v-power spark plugs in them and left them at the factory gap of .32. I was going to take them all out and do a more appropriate gap of .25 or so, do you think the gap could be causing my problem?

I have that issue as well. Seems intermittent and hasn't affected the way my cars runs. I know coil grounds can be an issue and the connectors that came with mine didn't seem the highest quality. I was thinking of splicing everything in direct, especially if I can find the factory type pins new as well as re-checking grounds. Hoping someone else will chime in with this issue.

Is it at idle or during pulls? What conversion kit/icm delete?

I used the ECS coil pack swap/icm delete..it does idle a little weird, nothing like the misfire, and I only really notice an affect during pulls. Idk if this is related, but when going about 40 there is a new audible humming type sound

The adapter may be faulty. You could test it with some spare wire and butt connectors or something in place of the coil adapter, idk. Maybe if you're some sorta genius with a multi-meter, you can test the adapter... somehow.

Just swap the adapter to a different coil.

send the kit back. Do the solder method. Link all pin 2 and all pin 4 grounds together (for 2 separate ground looms) and ground them. It's really the only way to get it to work properly. The late model a6 that I'm parting out has 4 pin coilpacks and from the factory it's done this way.
