    AC refrigerant and oil quantities

Anyone know how much refrigerant and oil should go in the AC system of our cars?
I found a table that says 450-550 refrigerant and no oil info.
The B6 should have 480-530 with 180g of oil. That seems a bit high to me. I've used this chart on my other
car and frankly I'm not happy with how the AC works.

What do you guys put in them?

I had mine vacuumed and recharged last summer and did a bunch of research. Most shop manuals seem to say 550. Bentley has this confusing table. What I do know, is that overcharging is very hard on them, so I went conservative and did 550 gms. I had good A/C after that.

I'm guessing the +50 would be the oil?

That's my assumption, but I don't know. It's a really confusing table. Depends on the color of the restrictor, type of compressor, condenser, mood of the Pope and whatever else they can think of.
