    N75 vacuum lines

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi guys,

Today I found the cause of my power issues. Both n75 vacuum lines are busted on my 1.8T. I want to replace them with silicone. Does anybody know the inner size of the 2 lines in MM? Mine are all worn out so I cannot meassure that.

    Thanks for the info guys!!

The one that is disconnected. That's the inner size I need. One goes to the turbo and one to the waste gate.

I used 4mm on all of those. It's snug and sturdy, I ordered from a good website with quality stuff, can't recall the name, oem hoses can be had in ebay cheap if you have the part numbers and it's sturdier and will last a long time.

Thank mate! Will replace mine this friday. Hopefully my boost will come back. Got zero power in the high revs. And an overboost error.

No problem man, Like Jacobsen said, 4mm would be perfect.

Just so you're aware, both of the hoses that go from the N75 to the turbo/wastegate are larger at at the N75 end. (They are ~5mm at the N75 end and ~3mm at the Turbo end)

4mm hose will fit, but it'll be really tight on the N75 connections.

You can see the flare in the hose in this pic.

A little heat, and the 4mm will slip over the N75 no problem. the hose I had was 5mm, but also a little old/stretched abit

034 sells a replacement hose kit for the N75 valve. Silicone, with clamps, and much more affordable than dealer part.

The stock N75 hoses are silicone for what it's worth. Reinforced, no less.

I think you should check em fro time to time. With a diy boost leak tester.

Just get 6mm ID hose and call it a day. Otherwise you'll be squirting KY in the hope of gettin' it in a smaller hole.
