    Removing/Installing stone guards (blades)

Anyone remove their own stone guards? I have the alu-optic stone guards on my S5 and prefer to switch them out for color matched.

I have read there are clips and adhesive. Any guides? Tips? Searched around and didn't find much.

It's a pain in the butt. There are maybe 10-15 clips and strong adhesive on the top and bottom. I used a heat gun and a trim removal took. Fishing line is hard to use because the clips are in the center. Here are some pictures.

I only broke one clip but they have them available on ecstuning.com

Awesome that helps a ton, thanks Chris. Those CF blades look great too.

Hows the fitment on those ECS blades. I was thinking about getting them but only if fitment is very good to perfect. I think I would just take them to local Audi body shop and have them installed.

They fit fine. You will like them more when you see them in person.
