After starting the engine when cold, the DSG does not engage for quite a while.
That continues for several minutes; can also lead to 'bang shifts' if applying throttle (revs go up, then DSG engages abruptly).
Feels like a conventional tranny with either low fluid or a solenoid sticking in the valve body.
What do the symptoms point at with a DSG?
Just do a DSG service with filter, new fluid, O rings?
