    Hi,

My Sirius subscription did run out. I did not renew since I have no use for the music channels.
It looks like that at the same time the realtime Nav feature stopped.

Just to confirm, the only way to get relatime traffic I need a Sirius subscription?

Yes. All you need is the SiriusXM Traffic subscription. Its like $3.99/mo, but if you pay for a whole year at once they discount it.

Thanks for confirming. And if I want google maps or google points of interest I also need an Audi Connect subscription. But I don't get live traffic through AudiConenct?

Correct! There are other way to get the wireless signal too. T-mobile, to name one but others have also found ways to tether their phones.
