Was a biga** job! More than I expected, but managed to get it done in 1 week.

First impression is simply amazing. It's a completely different car. Even the clutch sticking point feels different after the whole drivetrain has been stiffened with the locked-down subframes!! I'll make a separate thread with all the pictures. Also managed to set-up a gopro and make a time-lapse, same as with the carbon clean.

Also managed to make a new friend in the process, that saved the whole project! A guy only 3 houses away from mine (never knew before) had a complete metal-works shop and he borrowed me his biga** shop press to get the new bushings in and the rear bushing out.

    Shed some OEM weight!

Do the bearings while your at it... you are doing exactly what I did a few years ago and it's soooo nice now. My car is at 90k miles but is as tight as a zero mile car...

Is that ohlins and you rebuilding? good luck!

Which bearings are you referring to?

I would assume the strut bearings up top.

My question exactly. I'm a bit lost with this one?

You mean the strut towers? I got the rubber tower mounts from 034 Density line. And the coils I got KW Clubsport, they already come with a solid top mount, that replaces the old one completely (had to drill the old one out).

Or are you referring to any other bearing bluebull?

And yes, car feels and handles amazing!!

No, The piece that sits on top of the strut bracket. Its actually called the strut mount. That's what I should have typed oops. The strut bearings actually are permanent fixtures to the underside of the bracket. I only know because you can't buy one without the whole bracket. Hard lesson learned.

Np! Yeah, replaced the wheel bearings a few months back. For the strut tower mounts, I got new ones from 034 (top right of image)

Going to dig in and adjust my coilovers today after I adjust my rear camber and check the sub-frame alignment. Definitely no looking forward to it, but I am on a hiatus on rolling my fenders until some studs come it. Luckily, they are already partially rolled, but that was for a 19x10 +24. Now I am on a 19x10.5 +22. Anyway, any good tips out there for adjusting PSS9 B14s? I already read about lowering the whole rear sub frame to do the rear. Fronts not so surer. Hoping it will be easier. Nothing beer cant fix... Thanks ahead!

Took it off. I no longer need it, since I don't live in Colorado with its shitty roads and poor architecture for driveways. Plus, it just ended up being more complicated than not.

That came out nice. Is that paint or powder coat? Also is that water running down your rim or a crack under the center cap?

Just a bead of water. They are painted, we'll see how it holds up over time.

Hopefully get them on this week, I'm surprised at the approval rate of the color tbh lol.
