Man I got a sweet deal on mine a year ago then.

Does anyone know if it's possible to show the song playing in the center trip display instead of just the xm channel being displayed?

Such a stupid oversight on their part to show the channel instead of the song playing.

As far as I know, there isn't a fix. If there is, I'd love to know

Has anyone installed the ROW taillights and done the coding for dynamic signals?

I will be doing this next week and would like to hear from anyone who has done it...

I installed the semi dynamic modules on the stock lights. Super easy to install and the coding is not too bad. Just take your time and make sure you get each line right. You make a backup of all your original coding, but I also wrote down each stock value before over riding it with the new.

Sorry about the silly question but what are these? Can you point me to a video or something of what they do? Thanks!

I have a line on a set of S4 wheels-

I know the offset is higher than desired, but it is nothing I can't fix with a 20mm spacer, right? I believe offset is in the 40s, can't remember now of the top of my head
Just want to make sure before I pull the trigger.
    Thanks!

They are euro taillights...one if the main differences is yellow turn signals, here is a video...
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V2aubyFtieo
And you can get a harness to make them semi-dynamic, which is this...

Thanks for the context, I appreciate it. Having grown up in Europe, I've always been a fan of the amber turn signal.

B8 S4 wheels are 19x8.5 et43. You could easily get away with a 20mm spacer on those.

If you are talking S4 Peelers, I am running them with 20mm upfront and 25mm our back.

    All,

I'm so sorry to ask this question without floating through the entire thread first, but I am under a time constraint so any help is appreciated. I'm dropping off the allroad for her 75k service and the Aux Heater recall and while the car is there I would like to have them do anything possible to improve the steering feel (dead spot in the center and the left/right weave while driving straight lines long distances).

I read in the past that there was some software updates that Audi was testing out but I never found any detailed information about it. Do any of you have a TSB you can share with me about this? The idea is I can point the tech directly to this TSB so they can flash the software or do whatever else is recommended.

    Thanks in advance for this!

Can't speak to the TSB portion of your question, but do you have (or have you considered) an Alu Kreuz and/or a CR-15 upper tie bar? Together, they were the best things I did to improve steering feel on my '13.

Those are both on my list of future upgrades. Thank you for that feedback. What I really need right now is any TSB details that I can point my Audi dealership to carry out. If I don't, they will charge me a diagnosis fee to test and look for TSBs. UGH I know. Jerks.

    Thanks!

Still unsure if I made the right move..

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...510442358.html Very nice Allroad with almost every option for the year and still has 4k worth of factory warranty.

FWIW I have a set of Thule AreoBlade Edges for it that i have listed in the NW regional section and while I'm at it A5/S5/Allroad brushed alu electroplated mirror caps with blind spot assist holes yet to be posted. Not sure I can put that in here without getting flamed so let me know.

Will still be following these beautiful rigs in the background, a lot of you have done some AMAZING things with them.

Has anyone here done anything to their allroads to make them more "allroad" capable? I feel like most folks are urbanizing a machine that's designed to handle the great outdoors... not so much the other way around.

Would be cool to connect with a few folks who like to use their allroads to get out and away from urban areas :)

The truth in this statement shows it's obvious Audi was wrong what kind of wagon enthusiast want. And the general public doesn't care, so it's safe to say an Avant would have been a much better choice to bring to the US than an allroad.

getting ready to make some changes in the next month or so - still can't decide on catback. There was a small discussion a few moths back and it seems the options are Magnaflow and AWE Tuning, with both having some positive reviews and apparently some finagling to sit correctly.

The Magnaflow seems to be a little more than half the price of the AWE, though. That's pretty significant. It seems like the AWE has a resonator, though I've heard the Magnaflow does well on controlling drone.

My wallet may win this decision making...

getting ready to make some changes in the next month or so - still can't decide on catback.

I liked the Magnaflow on my black allroad so much, I bought another for the blue one. Not a moment's regret since.

I guess I should speak with my local Audi dealer (did not buy from them, but who I will be doing service with) to check their stance on mods, etc... forgot about that part, being I still have 2 years left on my CPO.

dropshadow - no (permanent) issues with you / your shop doing the install? The magnaflow thread seemed to have a few people saying the mid pipe makes contact with a brace and people were having some issues getting the tips to sit clean in the cutouts. I'm guessing not since you bought two haha...

I didn't have any fitment issues with either of mine, but I know some folks did. YMMV.

I am in an A6 loaner car and it has a heated steering wheel. Man is that thing nice! I’ve been in the market for a new steering wheel for the Allroad, but am now wondering - is it possible to retrofit a heated steering wheel? Has anyone done this?
