So what did you produce over your base runs (or was this your base run)?

Yeah - unfortunately, PA changed the looks of these plates. They're now white with a little square of the RR picture.

lol, you should see all the dirty things I do to mine when no one is around

It wasn't really to test anything mostly to just get a feeler for where I am at.

The blue line is the beta version of the E85 file I am testing.

I can't run full E85 but the extra timing it requests is fun plus it makes the exhaust pop :)

E40 + Meth keeps the car mostly happy, still need to review my logs.

Wife would kill me if i spent the $$$ ECS wants. I buy tons from them, but think their CF is overpriced. Took a gander on HKAMARS carbon on ebay. Style C (there are 4) For the cost, if I didn't like it,wouldn't break the bank.

Take a look at Carbon Imports, they have one similar to ECS for a much lower cost.

    Work and back.
    2.6 miles round trip.

What did you do to/with your S4 today?

A day late, but yesterday installed ECS direct fit clutch line replacement (delay valve delete). Best mod EVER! I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about but do now, man it's just so much better, especially when blipping on a downshift! The single best mod ever but also a complete and total pain in the ass to do. I swear it was 3 hours of removing shit for 10 minutes of work plus 5 minutes of bleeding. @ECS instructions were solid though!

Also did 3 of 4 four corners with ECS SS brake lines, damn 100k miles in Maine winters, that last corner was rotating the metal line instead of loosening. I'll need to think about that one before going back to it. Also did EBC GD1844 rotors and Red Stuff pads in the rear to match the front.

Today: Granite State Dyno in Hudson NH. Pales in comparison to @whiped up above, but then again I'm only at CW stage 2 with 93 pump gas. So I'll take it, more to come and pics in a minute.

Also got the rotor reps on for the winter that apparently no one likes, lol. The offset is perfect, actually better than the S5 rotors IMHO.

How was the fit of that spoiler? Looks like you got it on there perfectly but I'm wondering if that took a lot of finagling and finesse or did it easily/obviously fit into place?

Fit was surprisingly well...last 1/4" to the edge could be a little tighter, but you can't tell by looking, only when setting it on. Seems to me to be an exact fit in how it curled length wise and curved over the edge. It is as tight to the trunk lid as the 3m tape will allow. I see no gaps and have no complaints...

Had my mechanic install a Eurocode SS clutch line and extend d slave cylinder. The ďpush clutch to startĒ issue was getting increasingly finicky. Picking the car up later today.

Will be replacing rear pads and rotors and flushing the coolant this weekend.

The tech actually mentioned that. Super lean on top too. I'd love to go EPL stage 1 just not sure since I already have the pulley installed. Not interested in pulling that thing off.

Thanks for that though, I'm also wondering if a real stage one would yield better results too.

Discussing that with Chris at EPL right now, haha.

Side note, I know there are no logs, but any wild guesses why the curves get all sine wave like near where they meet?

You can't beat quattro with good tires.

No problem in the 13" we got last year. Even took back roads to avoid the idiots.

No problem in the 13" we got last year. Even took back roads to avoid the idiots.
Is that your S4 8n your profile pic? Because that's exactly what I'm looking to do when I get one. White with blacked or smoked out lights grill trim some carbon fiber here and there.

It all depends on your tire choice. Quattro can be useless on snow with summer tires. If you go at least decent all season, S4 will be your fun daily, weekend ride. Good luck finding one!

I bought mine at the end of last winter with summer tires on it and thought Iíd be ok to make it the rest of it on them. I hit a patch of ice on a hill and thought for sure I was going to rear end the car in front of me. I got really lucky. Bought a set of wheels with Michelin X-Ice last month and of course I got rear ended two weeks ago and Iím stuck with a rental for the first snow this year.

Dam that sucks. Glad your ok. I'm stuck with a rental probably for the winter season lol. I have a bmw E60 that has the PCV valve recall and they set me up with a rental. So my xdrive E60 is sleeping in my garage untill they tell me to bring her down. But now I'm in a Nissan murano fwd that is absolutely horable on gas and did I mention it's FRONT WHEEL DRIVE??? Good think I work for the state and get in before the snow falls and out hours after the roads are dry lol. I told enterprise I want a A6 or a charger SXT. So I'm waiting for ether or to come back so I can swap out..

Long weekend for me, see list below. Car is @ 71k miles DP since 45k 👍
Installed rear Stoptech sport rotors and new Ferodo pads f/r.
    Installed ethanol sensor
ECS boost tap, ran lines to inside cabin (that was a bitch)
Installed steering column custom pod to fit innovative gauge ( reads fuel temp, ethanol %, Lambda and boost)
New plus gapped to .024 and coils
    Rear diff oil change

Was all excited and went to bed new brakes and I see my temp going high WTF!! I was leaking coolant from the lower radiator hose, might be the O ring inside. After all that work, I feel defeated 😕. Towing car to dealer tomorrow for a quick fix and continue to bed brakes and flush fluid.

Lol yeah this front wheel drive is killing me. I spin the tires on every start from a start. Hyundai Sonata isnít exactly an equivalent rental for an S4. The person who hit me has Travelerís Insurance. They are the worst insurance company Iíve ever dealt with.

Is running lean on a CW stage 2 sort of the norm ?
