Gracias senor and thanks for the pics. I'll pick up the 3M 03612 adhesive wheel this week. Did you use Goo Gone Automotive or original GG? Which brand APC?

OG GG haha. Either would be fine I’m sure.

Adams but Simple G will be just fine. Or even 50/50 dish soap.

Just know they’re will be bits of thin adhesive left and no to try and get it all with wheel. And it’s messy! Do it outside or on a sheet. Adhesive and adhesive wheel pieces throw out a few feet.

Unfortunately not a wheel BBS says has a high enough of a load rating for the Q7. They have three that are rated high enough.

SV - 22x10.5” ET26
CH-R ii - 21x9.5” ET30
SX - 20x9” ET30

Ideally as I have the 20" stock tires sitting here with zero miles on. I put winters on the stock wheels at purchase.

Greetings fellow audiphiles...I started reading this post and realize that 95% of the posts involve lowering and aftermarket/ upsized OE wheel fitment.
I am about to take possession of a 2015 Q5 3.0 S- line with 20" 10 spoke factory wheels and I'm intersted in knowing (at least for the Winter) what size spacers I can get away with on these wheels.
Based on what I've read, I'm thinking 15mm front 20mm rear might work for a staggered set up but want to know if 20 mm all the way around would work? I don't even have the car yet... I'm just starting to build my list of goodies. For now I want to keep these wheels, but found a set of 19" peelers that I might resort to for winter/ snows.
Thoughts? Thanks much!

20mm up front is a bit much. You want to fit the front, then fill the rear. These already track wider in the front. That's why the most anyone uses up front is 15.

According to my super-duper sizing tool, http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp, you'll be fine.
You always want to stay between 28.7" and 29.3" on your overall diameter. These are right at 28.7". You're limited to 29.3" by the design of the steering knuckle. You can go smaller than 28.7", but your odometer will show more miles than you've actually driven. As for the spacers, I don't believe they'll be too aggressive at all. If the fronts clear without spacers, try the 10mm on the back and see how you like it. If you feel they could come out a bit more, put the 15mm on the back and move the 10mm to the front.

I've got a 2015 q5 with the 20"x9 5 (10) spoke and I'd like to run spacers. I don't know factory offset but am wondering if I can run 15mm front 20mm rear.

Those look like the stock Q5 v-spoke wheels which are 20x8.5 et36 or so. I have the RS5 version which are 20x9 et26. So for the same stance you need about 15mm spacers. However the spoke design is different still.

They asked I write up a proposal for new fits, and I highly recommended they do exactly that :) So we'll see. The meeting to discuss new fitments/offerings takes place this month.
