Am I the only one to recently remove a rear wheel and find that the outer bushing of the rear toe link has completely ripped out? The arm stays on the bushing center, but it has traveled a whole inch fore/aft. It has no play, as far as I can tell, but it can't possibly be doing its job like this. The new arm is $100 per side, but I would like to replace just the bushing, if possible, since obviously nothing is wrong with the arm. The rear toe link bushings seem, by geometry, to be under a huge amount of stress and a fair bit of deflection with suspension travel, so it's not surprising. I searched and didn't see anything similar; maybe everyone gets into their front uppers and forgets about the rest of the car.

Anyone else seeing this?
