What ball joint separator tool to use? The one from harbor freight won't fit? Anyone knows one that fits the lower control arms?

    I used:

    https://www.ebay.com/i/222208424213

    And

    https://www.ebay.com/i/182583164582

And one of those to push them in as grinding wasn't an option for me

    WD40 helps as well

No it doesn't, this is why I used a hammer, I couldn't find the one that fits and I wanted to get it done.

Cool. You keep looking and let me know what you will find.
As much as I searched I couldn't find and ended up with a hammer
IMHO I don't see anything wrong with the hammer approach as you are throwing the old arms anyway and couple of precise hits should do it, my car is fine :)
