Wiring harness - Connects to your cars original harness and terminates into Blaupunkt style connector. (We also have PNP adapters that convert the Blaupunkt style connector into radio specific connections)
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SRWH_AUD2_HILO.html Fixes low rear audio and does steering wheel controls with a SWCL.
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SRWH_AU2.html This DOES NOT FIX audio issues but is cheaper.
We were going to make a no steering wheel control HILO but decided to bring the price of the HILO with steering down to the no steering price.
We did the same with the non HILO units and got rid of the SRWH-AUD2-NS. Its still on the site but if you order it we just send you the SRWH-AUD2-B

If you have an aftermarket amp for all the speakers you do not need the HILO version of the harness.

    Hi, great service!

    1. Year and model of car 2004 S4 Avant (Jap Import to NZ)
    2. What radio did the car come with from the factory. (It doesn't matter if you have Bose) RNS-JP3 with Bose and 6 CD changer in glove box
3.Does the car have steering wheel controls? No, but I'd like to keep the in-dash display if poss.
4 What is the brand and model number of your new radio? Sony XAV712BT
    5. Are you going to be using a Sirius XM satellite tuner if yes which one? No

Hoping you have the kit. This thing has one large plug (Bose?), three normal (one empty - speakers) ones and four Fakra ones.
    Regards, Mike

    Hi,

I just purchased a 2011 A3 with the Concert head unit. I am looking to upgrade to a new head unit, speakers and amplifier. I think there may be a sub in the hatch area but not sure. I also don't know if there is an amp with the OEM setup. Can any help with the location of the amp (if there is one) and the sub? Also, here are my choices for upgrade:

    1. Year and model of car - 2011 A3 Wagon
    2. What radio did the car come with from the factory. - Concert
3.Does the car have steering wheel controls? - Yes
4 What is the brand and model number of your new radio? - Kenwood DMX7704S
    5. Are you going to be using a Sirius XM satellite tuner if yes which one? - Probably not.

    Thanks for your time.

That radio is brand new. I'm guessing on the PNP but compare it with the one that comes with your radio.

To use factory Satellite antenna you must run the cable to the tuner in the trunk. You will still need to buy a new tuner this is just to use the antenna.

To use factory GPS antenna. The plug is behind the sub in the trunk.

If car has GPS antenna on roof but not behind radio you will also need this extension.

The only way to replace the radio in a 2010 A4 is to get the alpine unit for europe.

I would stick to Kenwood Pioneer and JVC. Exact models depend on how much you want to spend. I stick to Pioneer 4201 and 8201.

    Little back story...
Some ebay radio I got for free. It was wired to another c5 a6 that I'm parting out but the wiring was a total mess. I'd rather clean it up a bit. I picked up a harness, but I can't help but think I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Besides the euro alpine unit there isn't much available for that car.

There are all type of mirroring and video interfaces. It really depends on what you need an how much you are willing to spend.

Audi radio replacement guide by EnfigCarStereo.com

    1. Year and model of car
    2013 Audi A3 Hatchback

    2. What radio did the car come with from the factory. (It doesn't matter if you have Bose)
    Concert w. Bose

3.Does the car have steering wheel controls?
Yes. And would like to keep them functional, if possible.

4 What is the brand and model number of your new radio?
    Pioneer AVH4200NEX

    5. Are you going to be using a Sirius XM satellite tuner if yes which one?
    Don't care about Sirius XM

I already have the unit and would like to install it. Can't wait to give apple car play a try.
    Thanks for your help!

Wiring harness - Connects to your cars original harness and terminates into Blaupunkt style connector. (We also have PNP adapters that convert the Blaupunkt style connector into radio specific connections)
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SRWH_AUD3_HILO.html Fixes low rear audio and does steering wheel controls with a SWCL.
    or
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SRWH_AUD3.html Is the same as above without the HILO box. This DOES NOT FIX audio issues but is cheaper.

Adds steering wheel controls to the boxes above.

Converts the Blaupunkt style connection into a connection specific to your radio.
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_PNP_PIO0237.html

Antenna adapter - This converts your 2 antenna connections into the universal connections most radios need.
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_AAA_VWAUD5.html

This is out dash kit. It matches the factory dash pretty close to perfect. We do not have a cheap kit for this because they all look bad in our opinion.
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_RMK8_A3DD.html

This mic makes replaces the aftermarket mic for better sound goes in the factory location.
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_MIC_AUD4.html

Keys to take out the radio.

To use factory Satellite antenna you must run the cable to the tuner in the trunk. You will still need to buy a new tuner this is just to use the antenna.

We were going to make a no steering wheel control HILO but decided to bring the price of the HILO with steering down to the no steering price.
We did the same with the non HILO units and got rid of the SRWH-AUD2-NS. Its still on the site but if you order it we just send you the SRWH-AUD2-B

To use factory GPS antenna. All 2004-2008 radios have a connection in the rear right C pillar. Cars with the RNS-E radio have it behind the radio.
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_GAA_PIO2.html
If car has GPS antenna on roof but not behind radio you will also need this extension.

    Hello,
I would like to replace the B&O amplifiers with a quality aftermarket AMP(s), and use a wiring conversion harness (I'm sure I'm saying that wrong) to seamlessly integrate it into the system. I don't want to know it is there except hearing better music.

    2012 S4
    B&O
    Yes
    NA
    NA - purpose of post.

    All the best.

Ordered and installed everything. Christian was very helpful.
It almost works. Before giving him a call on Monday I thought I post here, maybe someone can help me out.
Like I said, installed the cables. When I start driving, everything works. When I stop or start slowing down the EQ icon on my Pioneer unit starts blinking and then gets greyed out.
The sound trembles and shuts off every time the EQ is grey.
When the EQ is grey, the volume Control doesn't work (from the steering wheel, or from the unit).
It does the same thing with the fm radio and music from my phone via BT.
My anazon return date for my unit is closing fast, so I want to be sure it's not a faulty unit.

Sounds like you connected the pink VSS (tells navigation radios how fast your are going) to the yellow/black mute wire (mutes the radio when it sees ground).
Usually the problem is reversed. When you drive the radio mutes.

Alpine is the only radio without getting super expensive custom.

You would need one of these to go to an aftermarket amp.
