Wiring harness - Connects to your cars original harness and terminates into Blaupunkt style connector. (We also have PNP adapters that convert the Blaupunkt style connector into radio specific connections)
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SRWH_AUD2_HILO.html Fixes low rear audio and does steering wheel controls with a SWCL.
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SRWH_AU2.html This DOES NOT FIX audio issues but is cheaper.
We were going to make a no steering wheel control HILO but decided to bring the price of the HILO with steering down to the no steering price.
We did the same with the non HILO units and got rid of the SRWH-AUD2-NS. Its still on the site but if you order it we just send you the SRWH-AUD2-B

Converts the Blaupunkt style connection into a universal connection so you don't cut the wire above.
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_PNP_UNI.html

Antenna adapter - This converts your 2 antenna connections into the universal connections most radios need.
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_AAA_VWAUD2.html

This is out dash kit. It matches the factory dash pretty close to perfect. We do not have a cheap kit for this because they all look bad in our opinion.

This mic makes replaces the aftermarket mic for better sound goes in the factory location.

Christian, thank you so much for all the information you've provided so far. I've gone through this thread and pretty much have it figured out but I would like to double check before I kick this project off.

    1. Year and model of car - 2006 Audi S4 Avant
    2. What radio did the car come with from the factory. (It doesn't matter if you have Bose) - Audi Navigation Plus As far as I know, I got the car used, but it looks like this came stock.
3.Does the car have steering wheel controls? - Yes
4 What is the brand and model number of your new radio? - Pioneer 8100NEX - Navigation, bluetooth, XM/Sirius. Android Auto
    5. Are you going to be using a Sirius XM satellite tuner if yes which one? - Pioneer add on unit for 8100NEX

    Thanks again for help!

    1. Year and model of car: 2005 Audi A4 1.8TQ Avant
    2. What radio did the car come with from the factory: Symphony II with Bose
3.Does the car have steering wheel controls? No
4 What is the brand and model number of your new radio? Don't laugh: Joying JY-AL003N2 Android 5.1.1 headunit
    5. Are you going to be using a Sirius XM satellite tuner if yes which one? The car is equipped with it, but I will not be using it.

The manufacturer of the headunit claims that it is not compatible with Bose and that I would need to get a compatible canbus harness for it. I don't know whether they actually mean a full harness or just a different canbus adapter/box/decoder thingy. I'm not concerned about the radio info showing up in DIS. But would I need the proper box to control radio on/off with key in/out plus trigger backup camera upon selecting reverse (manual transmission)?
Does your Audi smart harness do all of that?

If I want this to be a plug and play installation, which of your harnesses would I need?

Here are the pictures of the harness/wiring supplied with the unit if that helps:

    Thank you!

Since chinese radios all use the same connector in different configurations we will never make a PNP for chinese radios.

You would have to mail us your harness and we would make it a PNP. That would be $103 in parts and $50 labor.

    Hey Christian,
I've started to notice some cackling from my speakers and miss having the option to play mp3 from a thumb drive/ phone streaming. I would love to have a factory like hands free phone capability. I've considered a road nav unit and just recently discovered dension.
    My questions :
    Do you Sell/shipping to Canada?
With your experience can you recommend a good speakers to replace the factory setup? I don't need a competition system but I like my music. Preferably PNP.
Can you endorse and recommend a dension system?

We don't do too many upgrades using the OEM radio. I would recommend trying the signal both ways to see which sounds better since I believe the Bose pin just changes the EQ but we always recommend getting a sound processor when using an OEM radio.

    1. Year and model of car - 2007 Audi A4 Sedan
    2. What radio did the car come with from the factory. (It doesn't matter if you have Bose) Symphony II + 6 disc double-din
3 Does the car have steering wheel controls? - yes
4 What is the brand and model number of your new radio? - Jensen VX7020 http://www.jensenmobile.com/mobile-m...ia/?sku=VX7020
    5. Are you going to be using a Sirius XM satellite tuner if yes which one? - no XM

Based on the other posts in this thread, I think this is what I'm after:
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_RMK8_A4B67.html - mounting kit - I like the matte finish!
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SRWH_AUD3_HILO.html - wiring adapter
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_AAA_VWAUD5.html - antenna adapter

Looks like the tools will make my life easier as well, especially for mounting the mic and if I go for the long run to the gps cable
    http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_PPT_12345.html#

Then the things I'm not sure about
http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_SWCL.html - steering wheel plug for the SRWH - I guess the generic one? - If another brand matches the Jensen "headphone jack" looking one, that'd be nice.

    - Wiring diagram: http://www.jensenmobile.com/docs/com.../VX7020_IM.pdf

It came with a GPS antenna but I'd like to hook into the existing one. The car has a sharkfin antenna on the roof. I guess that's GPS?
I haven't popped the back off but this DIY makes it seem possible.
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...-with-pictures!

Just can't find a GPS extension cable anywhere.

    Thanks!

http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_RMK8_A4B67.html <---- not sure if this will fit that face meant for chinese cars. Might hit the volume knob.

That doesn't sound good. Is the face wider or something?

This thing was a Christmas gift but it seems like it's intended for the US market. I see it was on Crutchfield, which lends it an air of respectability, but I'm not sure where it was purchased from. Probably Amazon.
    http://www.crutchfield.com/S-EGPkmDS...en-VX7020.html

The protruding part of the face is 170x97mm and the volume knob is inset ~1mm.
Do you think that will work?

Crutchfield recommends a Metra faceplate http://www.metraonline.com/part/99-9107B but the Enfig one seems nicer, and removable without taking everything apart when I screw it up the first time...
    Thanks!

There isn't a lip between the face and the chasis of the radio. That Jensen radio is made by audiovox. It's probably made at the same factory as the rest of the no brand chinese radios just more reliable. The power connector, Key1/Key2 steering whee lcontrol wires and screw on GPS antenna tell me its a "chineese made radio" But hey it has good reviews so for the price it is what it is.

If you are crafty you can shave the back of the faceplate and double stick tape it to the backplate. I have done that before.

    The opening is 171.5mm x 97.5mm

Ours blows away the metra one.

No that is not possible with any Audi. That box takes care of engine whine, turn on and off pop and low audio through the factory amp.

I can't have this conversation here since it's not about radio replacement but Mobridge is the proper way to replace the factory amp, The LC2i is the much cheaper way that most people use to add a sub.

There were some 2 ohm infinity speakers that people were using. I honestly dont know much about the B5 speakers. I haven't replaced a B5 speaker in over 10 years. But I do have all this speaker adaptes that are hard to find in stock.

    Hi Christian:

    1. 2005 A4 b6 1.8T
    2. Symphony I -non bose
    3. no steering controls
    4. RNS-E Nav
    5. No sure on XM

I am connecting ARC Amp and 10" Diamond Sub . Looking for converter that will allow me to use factory speakers with Subs and Amp. was advice to look at either JL cleansweep or LC2 or audiocontrol. Need help of converter or any wiring harness that I would need to connect converter to the existing RNS-E. Do you also have wiring diagram on the RNS- E .
Also looking to add Bluetooth and Aux, as well a being able to play video while driving.
    Thanks
