Is there a secret wheel store I'm unaware of?
I feel like I've been searching for OEM RS4 Wheels for a long time now. I've seen the thread OEM vs Replica and my heart still lies with OEM. I'd say checking the classifieds has become a bit of a religious ritual. I've seen RS4 wheels picked up from $300 bucks (pawn shop) to $3,600 (dealer...ha) & everything in between. I understand there is a premium for OEM but I can't seem to find a good deal.
What is the max I should pay for a clean set of RS4 wheels? What should the average cost of shipping (across country)?
Staticuxo's B7 S4 stance is what I'm after.

Thanks for any insight.

Thanks for the link but I've searched them as well. I read that a couple people have had issues with this company. One person bought wheels and they weren't perfectly round... It seems that they sell refurbished wheels. I feel like the integrity of having a perfect wheel isn't something you want to jeopardize.

Number 7 in the diagram. $694 a pop. Not going to find them much cheaper than that. Probably $3000 for s full set of OEM wheels by the time they're shipped

http://www.wheelcollision.com/ This is where I have already bought a set of wheels. He doesn't always have all the wheels in stock. But he does very nice work. My wheels looked brand new when they were finished. A little far for you. But it's an option and I am sure he ships.

I'd buy replicas from here if I were you...

I'm with you, I prefer the OEMs ... but not for over twice the price. For $2k+ you could buy some nice BBS CHs.

No thanks.
Bought my S5 winter reps from these guys, awesome to deal with. Girl who answers the phone is really helpful. They're in Michigan so shipping is fast.

I found my OEM's RS's in the classifieds. Just be patient. Staticuxo's car was sick as F***. Wish I would have ran 225's on those wheels. Good luck with your search!

^^ This, or have them shipped. Make sure you have some wheel boxes ready to ship the seller, just incase he/she could not be bothered shipping them because good packaging is not readily available. In the last year, I have probably seen at least 8 sets of OEM 19x9's for sale. Some will pop up. Just have to look everyday.

I was definitely searching Craigslist but only in areas I had access to. I didn't know about adhunter but will be using that in the future.
Thanks for the heads up about the shipping boxes. That's a good idea.

I bought my RS4 replicas here, and I am 100% satisfied with the rims, price, shipping, and the customer service. I think I paid less than $1500 for wheels and tires, mounted and balanced.

wow, thank you everyone for the compliments! i sometimes miss that car.
i got really lucky- i found my OEM RS4's on the classified from another user for about 1k with used stock tires. they had some wear and tear, but it was worth it. i planned to refinish them but ended up selling the car before the summers end.

Thanks again for all the recommendations. I should have a set of OEM RS4 wheels in my possession in a couple weeks. It seems all I had to do is post a cry out.

I was on the fence about an RS4 after looking for S4 avants for a good year. Station wagons are where it's at for me. I found an 6MT with 10k on the clock last Aug.
Good luck with the hunt!

I managed to get a set pretty cheap (except they had to be shipped) that needed refinishing. Comes out right around 1k w/ shipping, wheels, and refinishing. Thinking ill do a gun metal color on them once they come in like the titanium RS4.

Are you asking if it was a salvage or HAD extremely high miles at some point? The car had 1 owner and clean car fax. The dealer mentioned he had a few houses and that it was a seasonal car. He traded it in for a GT2. I purchased it in Aug 2011 with 10,600 on the clock, and it now has a whopping 19,800. (Also, I think it was you I saw downtown a few weeks ago. I however was in a 4runner. Car looks great!)

I'll probably be doing the exact same. We'll see how much I can live with the existing curb rash. I've been going back and forth between gun metal and silver but will probably be refinishing sometime next year.

It’s a tough choice. I know some people would pay more for resale when the time comes for gunmetal RS4s but at the same time you can never go wrong with silver. There was a set in the classifieds that was peeling but remember really liking the color of the wheels.
EDIT:
Here it is..looks great on black
