    05 s4 misfires!!

so I have an 05 s4 with 117k that started having random misfires across 5 cylinders. brought it to a shop
that specialized in audi and they told me I needed to update my software so I went from version 10 to version 30.
It basically went from bad to worse after that. misfires got alot worse and it sputters and almost stalls whenever I take it out of gear and
    coast to a stop.

they are stumped as to y its doing that and now im getting 10 to a gallon or less.

    any ideas whats wrong????

Holy cow - I would start with a Seafoam cleaning as a baseline. After that change the plugs and check if coils are all working 100%.

Unhooked intake? Check the intake for leaks, and check your filter too.

I would be looking into coil packs, spark plugs, and ignition control modules.

Did you replace the coils in the dealer recall? If not, that could definitely be part or even all your problem.

What Codes is it throwing out? Suspect cat failure, both Banks. If they haven't had the originals replaced, mostlikely they're toast...

sorry for never responding I have a short attention span. turns out the factory version 30 update that was installed was installed incorrectly. also some of the vibration that I was feeling when driving was because my flywheel was getting close to shitting the bed.

thanks for all the responses i really appreciate it.
