First the state burns down, now people are getting shot at the movie theater. I hope the members of this forum and their friends and families have not been affected by any of the tragedies which have plagued this great state so far this summer.

Yeah I heard that too, althought they werent sure if it was the same guy going out to get his gear on or if it was someone else opening the door for James Holmes. Apparently his car was parked out back though. He seems more like the type of guy who would go at it alone, It would be very strange and scary to think there is another one of these people out there.

It's interesting for sure as the details unfold. As for the anti-gun/pro-gun hype that's sure to come, that's gonna be a cluster. That theater is on the no carry list for CO and that wasn't the case I wonder if this would've taken a different route if there was a law abiding concealed weapon carrying citizen there. That was one of the conversations we were having quite a bit at work today. I personally think if there was someone carrying there would've been a significantly lower number of victims.

What I don't understand about people like this guy is that they are pissed at a certain person or group of people, yet they act out on complete and total strangers. Why wouldn't you murder the people who have brought you so much stress/depression/misery/whatever? Not that I'm implying anyone should be shot, but that would seem to make a lot more sense.

i feel bad for anyone whose family was affected by this dumb ass... i dont get why someone would get such an idea if your pissed off then go shoot your self but leave all the innocent people the hell alone. i cant even imagine the chaos that had to of happened in side. i agree that if someone in there might have been able to have a conceled weapon it may have turned out different or it may not have no way of knowing. it sounds like it was premedidtated though with the amount of guns the report says he used and the fact that his home was set with traps and things.

oh by the way, not sure if legit but i heard some girl on Facebook was passing around something along the lines of, "Apparently, in Colorado, Dark Knight Rises is to die for." That's some fucked up shit

I was working 911 EMS in Fort Collins when I heard about this. It disgusts me. So many freaking heroes during this incident. A guy jumped in front of his girlfriend and her brother and he got shot and passed away. I hope the best for these families, this is something no one should EVER have to experience.

i hope it is a local prison and the people in there make his life a living hell for as long as he lives people like this disgust me. he had even rigged his apartment to explode basically when they went to search it so this was obviously well thought out. i can think of a BILLION other things to occupy your time with then something the likes of this. some people are just messed in the head i guess

Girl I work with knows 2 people who were shot, both are OK though. Crazy stuff. Hope they torture this dude. Life in prison only gives him 3 meals a day for the next 60+ years on the taxpayers dime.

im down with the good old fashioned stoning for him.. i say the families of the victims get to throw all the rocks each person 3 rocks a day for the rest of his life.. and they only feed him stale bread and water.. in this case i think jail will be to much of a comfort for what he deserves
