Top 5 Things To Do To Your Stock A5
So I'm a first time Audi owner who is getting his new 2013 A5 S-Line 6MT in two weeks.
I can't sleep at night thinking about all the things I want to do to it without even having driven one mile in it yet.
Which got me thinking it might be fun to her from all of you that you TOP FIVE MODS were (and why).
Loving being in this community an look forward to picking your brains.

Drop, spacers, tint, grill/rear valence swap and exhaust.
Drop and spacers just because they change the entire look of the car, tint just because its always a first mod, I do not care for the grey oem grill and like the black optic or mesh style, and the single sided valence/exhaust looks a bit puss to me. Hope that helps

X2...order an AWE exhaust ASAP (if you're thinking of going that route) and hopefully you'll be able to enjoy it by football season ;-)

Love the feedback guys... why the spacers? also any interior mods? was looking at the oCarbon CF trim and it looks great.
AWE Exhaust on the list definitely... just trying to pace it out so the wallet doesn't explode...

Spacers because the stock offsets are so weak.
White car...1" drop with 20mm/25mm spacers

Trim is very nice but I would consider that way down the list. Lots of money for not much gain imo.

Cheaper mods:
LEDs throughout (including license plate)
Vag Com Mods including Video in motion
Change out fogs
Black out window trim (unless you want to keep it)
tint your windows
More expensive mods:
3M Clear Bra (I wish I had but I don't, those that have it love it. There have been concerns in the past for yellowing of the clear bras on whit paint so if you're thinking about it, look into that)
Exhaust system
Suspension
Chip Tuning , which will likely get your car flagged td1
Valance and grill
Edit: Oh yeah and #1 mod you can do is spacers.

It'll look way better than the stock grill. Since you're in L.A., I have recommendations for lowering, alignment, and rims/tires of course. Let me know.

IMO it all depends on what engine you have:
If its the 2.0T, then 1. HFC (or full Turbo-back), 2. ECU Software Upgrade (stage II), 3. Coilovers (w/spacers), 4. tints, and 5. anything aesthetic (grill, wheels, etc...)
If its the 3.0T, then 1. ECU Software Upgrade, 2. cat-back exhaust, 3. Coilovers (w/spacers), 4. tints, and 5. anything aesthetic (grill, wheels, etc...)
Interior mods are great and I definitely recommend a flat-bottom wheel even though they can be pricey.
The top 5 things will end up being the top 10 or 15 things because lets face it, you will not stop at 5.
