In Canada, we get $2,000 added for freight and PDI. On top of that about 425 for documentation fees, another 500 for window etching.

Basically 3K in mostly dealership nonsense. Add another 1K in Audi Care + taxes. Over 4K in fees outside of the vehicle itself.

we charge $75... dealer fee's are optional to the dealer... your referring to the advertising fee, that is set by audi and built into the invoice pricing of the vehicle... this fee isn't added to the MSRP.


Rush is available but we never know it if helps... we mark our sold orders "HOT RUSH" but I dont think it does much...

Well there is the problem you have to mark it "SMOKIN, SIZZLIN, FIERY RUSH"

if its a standard dealer policy then they arent going to change it... not worth arguing over $500 on a $80k car.

I'd bring it up, ask what its for , see if theyll work with you. not worth pursuing TOO MUCh though. My feeling is you'll brush it off when the car is staring at you in the face through the glass dealer walls, begging you to drive it, conjuring images in your mind of the amount of panties you're about to catch on the drive home

Stopped by Audi of Coral Springs in S Fla, and there was Sepang and a Black one. Didn't get any pictures but was curious if their owners were on here. I'm gonna try to go back tomorrow to get pictures. They really did look sweet.

doc fee is same thing. whatever the dealers policy is you won't change it. the largest volume audi dealer that I kno of has a $495 fee that clearly states "could be used for additional dealer profit" and every customer pays it, no way around. Negotiate it with the price next time.

just wondering, is there any break-in period for this car? ie for the first 1000 km (650mi) you shouldn't drive over 100km/h (65mph) or accelerate too hard?

are you guys planning to baby the car for the first little while, or are you gonna push it right from the start?

It's a very high tolerance high revving engine, there's not much you can do wrong except full load for a long period, so a track day might not be a good break-in technique. It's already had a 9000rpm check (probably) at the engine factory before you see it at 0miles on the odo.

Drive it from day one like it deserves, I can't imagine any of our roads here would provide enough opportunity for torture that this engine can't handle.

However... on a new thread we can have a "best road" discussion. Just not here.

Manual likely says the first 600 - 1,000 miles is break in period.

I don't know much about new engines, rings are probably already seated and tested though.

Thanks! Unfortunately it needs to be cleaned up before it goes on a truck to me..that way any possible damage it might receive will be readily noticeable upon delivery. I'll probably do a 2 step polish on it when I get it anyway do it shouldn't be a big deal.

It's Daytona Grey and Lunar Silver. The Lunar looks very light silver and almost white. Going to be tough to keep clean I'm sure. I was debating the Ti pkg early on, but am glad I went with alu-optic - I like the contrast of colors. Just a matter of preference though as I'm sure the Ti pkg will give the car a totally different and sportier look.

I'm at work, so couldn't only take it out for a quick spin, but it's really just amazing. My '11 S5 felt like a toy compared to this car. The downshift revs sound thunderous in Dynamic mode and the suspension and handling is the best I've ever experienced....even better than an M3.

Nice pics and angles. Your interior confirms that the RS5 does get the perf wheel and shift knob leather which I like. However, there are also no silver buttons on the mmi. :/
