I was headed down 5 and turning West on 80 towards San Francisco when I saw this car in person today. He was on the side of the road. With the hood up. Scratching his head.

You can't deny that the tuning trends from Germany and eastward tend to be like this. I've been to a few meets and massive car shows in Germany, and seen plenty of reports from shows with cars from Poland, Czech Republic, etc. I know it's a stereotype, but there were plenty of hideously modded cars.

It was pretty funny, cause I recognized it as an Audi pretty quickly from a distance, then I had the immediate "ewww, those tail lights" thought, then I saw the hood up, and thought "is that a hood scoop... HOLY SHIT! It's that car!" I couldn't stop to help, but I'm not sure how the conversation would have gone anyway. Would have been pretty funny if I had a gas can and a lighter in the trunk. Coulda' jumped out and told him I had just the thing to fix it.
