ABS Control Unit? With odd symptoms...

Now im pretty sure my issue is the control unit, but it has been acting funny so im not so sure anymore.

Anyway, the abs light has came on, along with the "BRAKE" light flashing, followed by three (3) beeps. This has been happening for a couple weeks now, and the issue is becoming more and more frequent.
The lights pop on without warning, nothing really changes. In the beginning, it would only turn on for a short second and shut back off. Now, it seems the lights come on in the middle of the day, when its hot and humid out. Driving to work at 5:30 in the morning, itll never turn on.

So the question is, is it the control unit for ABS? I dont know if it's condition degrades over time or just suddenly stops working? Any thoughts/ideas help.
