Mine is getting 3M wrapped + Tinted + Paint protection done at the dealership!!! Unfair, but I'm feeling lucky. You're on. I'm going to go there on the 26th-27th and see what they will give me as a trade in for my Subaru, I have a few people interested in buying it but if the dealership gives an OK price I will most likely trade it in. 1000 less from the dealership works out the same with the tax savings anyway.

They're just doing tinting on mine but I'm clear bra'ing somewhere else. Good luck with the Subaru, they were only going to give me 13k on my accord so I sold privately and made 23k.....nice eh? Mine is also on the same ship. i think the ship is called THE TOPEKA and should arrive in Halifax Monday AM. My dealer said I should get the car by the 31st if all goes well. Not bad considering I ordered it May 30.

I just got off the phone with my dealer and he didn't get any damage notice about my car so i'm hoping that mine isn't damaged. He did say that he wants me to get my car more than I do since he wants to close out his month with my car.

I don't think they have the details on the damaged cars yet, I was told the system will update the status again on July 23rd, the date the boat arrives in Halifax I guess. Also, based on the last update, the ETA at the dealership here is August 20th, I can't see how anyone in Western Canada can get it on July 31st (perhaps they meant August 31st :) )

Ask your dealer to give you a copy with the details on your car from the "accessaudi" site, all the dates are there, they might be worst case estimates though. With port arrival on July 23rd mine shows dealership ETA the week of 08/20/2012. He has told me it takes usually about 10 days after clearing customs.

You're probably right about the estimates being AFTER it clears customs. I can't assume that the dealer knows when customs will complete their inspection but as you mentioned, your estimates are probably 'worst case scenario'.

By the way my dealer told me this morning me that the boat scheduled to arrive in Halifax on the 23rd is two days early and it is arriving tomorrow!
The bad news for me is that Audi screwed up my order and my car is missing two special options (heated rear seats and ski bag) so now I will have to decide if I will wait longer to get a car with the ordered options or get the one arriving tomorrow! Sh...!

I was talking with a sales guy on Saturday, and he happened to mention that he had some new information regarding the shipment (previously servers or something had been down due to a storm?) and all he said is MattChat will be pleasantly surprised and will be speaking with him on Monday (today). I wish I had more info than that. I can appreciate the lack of sleep, although I have 4 kids but I haven't even ordered the darn thing yet and I'm already losing sleep!

I am excited though that on Wednesday, I will be able to drive a stock S4 and stasis tuned S4 back to back! This will answer a lot of questions.

Correction, it's in Edmonton getting off a train and then getting on a truck to Calgary for same day delivery....so, as soon as they get it unloaded from the train.....patience, not one of my strong points!!!
