Tint conforming over defroster lines - best option?

So... I may be trading cars shortly, and I'm researching tint to avoid the problems I had last time...

I had F1 pinnacle ceramic, and I understand the ceramic tints tend to be thick and not conform to the defroster lines. This creates a halo type effect around lights/headlights behind you.

Anyone know if there are new products out there that are better? 3M Crystal or other? I'm looking for good heat rejection since I live south of Houston... thus ceramic originally - it had the best heat rejection specs.

I spent some time reading the tint threads, but didn't come up with anything definitive. Will talk to a few tint shops, but wanted to try to get the expertise of the AZ community first.

    Thanks,

    Jim

P.S. Here is the thread discussing my current A4 and the "bubbles" around each defroster line : http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...=1#post4344868

Perhaps use a non ceramic tint for the rear windows and keep the F1 Pinnacle for the rest?
