depends if you want your antenna to work or not i guess. i thought it was a fairly easy swap though.

    From here: http://www.euro-parts.us/acatalog/Books.html#a1

You need the "OEM adapter for RNS-E and Concert III"
    - Be sure to select Symphony II to Concert III (the other name for Symphony II+)
    - Be sure to have Bose selected

You can also get the Antenna Adapter if you want to have a radio signal. (NOTE this is not the "Antenna Adapter with Diversity", thats for the B5 Symphony I)

Thats all you need. Assuming the cables arrive in one piece its just plug and play.

I've been thinking about this swap for better sound. Looking at what is there, it would be ~$50 for the adapter, $26 for the antennae adapter, then the cost of the new head unit and you have a fully functional new radio? I've never wanted to upgrade cause everyone says that the radio takes a hit, and I drive through some fringe radio areas now and don't want to make it worse. If I can upgrade for ~$75 plus the cost of a new head unit, I'd be more interested in doing so.

Even with the adapter reception takes a hit. I live in the Seattle Metro area so Radio reception isn't an issue (and all I listen to is NPR anyway) so I can't comment on places farther out, but I noticed no appreciable difference in radio reception. I also live and work ~1mi from the main broadcast towers for some of the major stations so maybe I suppose I really can't speak to radio reception.

But yea, those two adapters were literally it. Theres no Vag-Com coding necessary for Bose either, it uses a pin on the harness,

My radio signal decreased quite a bit after the swap. I pretty much never listen to the radio but some stations that were normally pretty good were shaky.
