Contact pics over bluetooth on 2013 MMI Nav Plus?

I recently picked up a US 2013 S5 with Nav plus. When connecting my phone (Win Phone 7 / Nokia Lumia 900), the bluetooth prompt on the phone asks if I want to also sync contact pictures. I've granted permission.

On MMI call screens, with a call in progress, I always see a generic contact image. I have actual profile pictures showing up on the phone (coming in as a result of Facebook integration in Win Phone 7).

Does the 2013 MMI w/Nav Plus (HD based) actually support pulling contact pictures from the phone over the Handsfree profile? Should I be seeing actually photos of my contacts?

I got my 2013 S4 last weekend and now that I have most of the features under control, I've now hit this one as well. I haven't sorted through my contact list to see which ones had phone-stored photos, which ones have Google-stored photos and which ones have Facebook photos. So far, though, I haven't see a phone contact's photo on my screen.

Did you ever get this working by chance?
