I have a 2001 S4 6 speed and am looking to upgrade the shifter/linkage and whatever else I can do to improve that horrible feelings while shifting. I know I can do the Jhm short shifter kit and linkage upgrade but I had read once that someone swapped out the shifter cage for a passat shifter cage and had improvements. Does anyone have experience with that mod or can comment on that mod. Is it worth it or even possible?
